SU'Z KITCHEN
Suhasini started Su'z Kitchen with an aim to connect and join people together, while bringing exposure to a plethora of creativity that resides in almost every home. In most cases, this creativity ends up remaining within the home due to lack of affordable opportunities and platforms for people to try and take their talents to the next level.
While social media has been a great opportunity provider and has given the choice in the hands of the people to create and test their products, skills and services in the public domain, there is still a gap where one can do the same in physical spaces.
Su'z Kitchen is an endeavour to address this gap. Through the power of collaborations, Su'z Kitchen tries to create opportunities for people to showcase and exhibit their wares in physical spaces to get a first hand experience and reactions of customers and audiences. It offers support and encouragement and open discussions on how we can help each other and together try to promote your talent to the next level.

Academics. Teaching. Mentoring
Suhasini has a background in design and is a NIFT Alumni, as well as an Ex-faculty of NIFT as well as Pearl Academy. She has been working for the past two decades in the field of design. She teaches graduate and post graduate students across all design departments and levels. Her area of expertise lies in Fashion Styling, Fashion Communication, Fashion Design Histories, Creative Thinking, Weaving Stories and Narratives, Portfolio Development, Design Process and Understanding Aesthetic & Culture with reference to the Journey of Design. She has mentored numerous student for their Design Collections, Craft Studies, Colloquium Papers, Portfolio Development and Research Projects related to design.
She continues her journey in education as a Visiting and Guest Faculty, as well as Juror and Mentor for various fashion, design, communication, and foundation subjects. She is associated with academic institutes and universities like several NIFT (Kangra, Shillong, Bangalore, Srinagar, to name a few), Chitkara University, Ansal University – Sushant School of Design, and other educational institutions. She also works as a researcher and consultant in the field of education, curriculum development, communications, art & culture, and teacher training.
She has also worked with the government body CCRT (Centre for Cultural Resources and Training, Ministry of Culture) as a guest lecturer in the domain of textile history as part of their Teacher Training Programme.

Apart from academics, Suhasini works as a Consultant for Content Creation, she writes blogs and articles, edits and proofreads publications, and gives creative inputs for design related projects. Some projects and institutions that she is associated with include Fashion brand Meraki, Ajanta Vihara Institute of Spiritual Sciences, CDP (a not-for-profit charity that runs the global disclosure system for investors, companies, cities, states and regions to manage their environmental impacts), GIZ Training Manuals, Clean Construction publications, Education Toolkits, Economic Framework Publications, MSME Policy Briefs, Air Pollution related publications and Organisation Newsletters, to name a few.
